Sven John has gained over twenty years of experience in integrated marketing, creative planning and international strategic brand management. His expertise ranges from automobiles, banks, perfume, consumer goods, electronics, e-business and logistic branches to politics. During his eight-year work at Grey he established the strategic planning department. In 1996 he became director and managing partner of the BBDO Group Germany. In the following years Sven managed and founded BBDO agencies in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Berlin. In 2004, he set up BBDO/Interone Beijing, a 360 degree full-service communication agency. Three years later he co-founded GREENKERN, an agency for brand strategy and management with offices in Berlin and Beijing. In 2009, Sven and Georg Warga (Goodstein & Partners) invented for their client Volkswagen the biggest open-innovation platform in China. Since its launch at the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show, the „People‘s Car Project" has received numerous top-class international awards. Sven presently also teaches New Methods of Brand Management and The Paradigm Change in Communication at the Berlin University of Arts (UdK Berlin).
