Before working as CEO for Creative Friends UG, Sven Markschläger held the position of Chief Digital Officer, responsible for the digital transformation of the Krombacher Group, in particular digital brand management, digital media, and the development of digital business models and data platforms for Krombacher, Schweppes and several other brands (national and international).
A particular focus is the development of data-driven communication and sales measures.
Until March 2017 Sven was Senior Account Executive for Twitter DACH and supported some of the biggest brands and media agencies in Germany using Twitter.
He moved to Twitter from IKEA where he was responsible for overseeing all online and mobile projects including eCommerce. Before joining IKEA, Sven was Digital Communications Director for Weber Shandwick in Germany, CMO, and Head of Public Relations for the VZ Network Group, the holding company that owns German Facebook competitor StudiVZ. Previously, Sven was Head of Digital Marketing at the internationally renowned beverage company Jägermeister.
In addition, Sven currently teaches as a lecturer, specializing in digital marketing, eCommerce, social media, and brand-driven business strategies.
