Tanja Polonyi studied communication and political science (M.A.) in Germany and Finland. After working in various party structures, she started her professional career at Brand New Bundestag, a cross-party grassroots organisation that campaigns for future-oriented politics and a parliament that represents all parts of our society.

As of right now Tanja is working on the upcoming German elections in 2025, supporting and empowering young politicians who, in the past, have been underrepresented in politics. Together with other network partners she aims to bring a light to patriarchal and power structures within democratic parties. Since starting her work at Brand New Bundestag, Tanja has dedicated her energy into strengthening non-partisan cooperation and championing diverse voices in German politics.
