Teresa Bücker is the Digital Strategist for the SPD Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag where she advises top-ranking politicians. Prior to that she worked for the Executive Committee of the Social Democratic Party focusing on strengthening the participation of citizens through digital media. From 2008-2010 she worked as Head of Community Strategy of „der Freitag“, a political medium run by Jakob Augstein. Bücker is a frequent speaker on internet policy and political communications. She is a founding member of D64, a think tank dedicated to facilitating political dialogue and policy development for a digital society. Bücker writes a weekly online column on society and technology for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and is currently working on her first book on gender equality.
