Thomas Rößler is Business Development Manager at Scitotec, a software development company from Erfurt/Thuringia, where he is mainly responsible for project management and customer support. In addition to that, he regularly holds courses and presentations concerned with data quality.

Scitotec, is a spin-off of Erfurt University of Applied Sciences. Its mission is: “High quality data:
whenever, wherever you need them!” The company develops individual data quality solutions and
holds data quality courses and trainings in companies of all sectors and sizes. The company is an active member in the “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Informations- und Datenqualität e.V.”(dgiq e.V.), in
which it is in charge of the “Regional Section East”.

Prior to working for Scitotec, Rößler was employed at a leading consulting company in the field of
valuation and commercialization of patent-based technologies.

Thomas Rößler studied “business administration” at Erfurt University of Applied Sciences and Vilnius
Gediminas Technical University. Moreover, he took a course in “intellectual property rights” at Open
University Hagen and is, therefore, a certified “patent consultant” (Patentreferent). Furthermore, he is a member of the Licensing Executives Society, (LES) Deutsche Landesgruppe e.V., which is mainly
concerned with licensing of intellectual property rights and transfer of technology.
