Thomas has worked in Mobile Telecommunications from the infancy of GSM until today’s stage of matured mass markets. Starting his career in engineering, a variety of different positions in training, product marketing, business development, strategy and business innovation formed an internationally experienced all-rounder in the probably most dynamic industry of the last two decades. Before Thomas joined Deutsche Telekom back in 2001, he worked for Orange and Hutchison Telecom in various countries.

In Deutsche Telekom, he is responsible for the joyn Proposition development and heads the GSMA joyn Product Group which continuously develops the joyn roadmap. Aged 48, Thomas holds a degree in Telecom Engineering.
