Toni Willkommen studied International Business (B.A.) in Germany, Finland and Switzerland and obtained a M.Sc.in Management at Edinburgh Napier University. He started his professional career at Bertelsmann and was appointed as executive assistant to former Gruner + Jahr CEO Julia Jäkel. Subsequently he was responsible as deputy managing director for the activities of the media brands STERN and GEO. During this time, Toni Willkommen was a member of the advisory board of nextMedia Hamburg. He then headed a media and journalism foundation in Berlin as managing director. For the last two years, Toni Willkommen has been advising companies on their transformation at Accenture SONG and co-led the Diversity & Inclusion unit at Accenture Hamburg. Toni Willkommen is the host of the podcast EINHEIT GUT, ALLES GUT, which deals with the question of equality between East and West Germany. As of September 2024 he is the Chief Growth & Brand Officer at Brand Eins.
