Therefore he is continuously scouting for new trends & future business opportunities driving the digital relationship of the brand to its passengers.

Before, he founded the Lufthansa Social Media Team and lead the brand to one of the globally leading airlines in the social space with more than 1.5m fans on Facebook today. Lufthansa is the leading airline on location-based services like foursquare with more than 160.000 followers.

Previously Torsten managed strategy & business development of Lufthansa Miles & More – Europe’s leading frequent flyer program. He started his career as executive assistant of Dr. h. c. August Oetker.
