Raised in Mexico City and based in Barcelona, Mark Aanderud is a pianist, composer, and producer with an academic background in classical piano, jazz, and composition. He has played and recorded with a diverse array of acts that includes The Mars Volta, David Gilmore, and Billy Martin of Medeski (Medeski, Martin, Wood), and has produced more than 15 albums and toured the world in the process. He serves as the House of Beautiful Business musical director.
