Europe’s leading Internet conference strenghtens its management team with the engagement of Monique van Dusseldorp as International Programme Director. She is expected to bring a more international orientation with a strong focus on European web innovation to the NEXT conference.

Monique van Dusseldorp (44) is a well-known curator of seminars and conferences on creativity, innovation, and technology. Over the last ten years she initiated and organised a series of internationally renowned events, all with a top line of speakers. She was the Programme Director of PICNIC, an Amsterdam cross media festival, from 2006 to 2008, and is presently Programme Director for TEDxAmsterdam and a number of other industry events, mostly in the field of media and technology.

The sixth NEXT conference will be held in Berlin on May 17 and 18, 2011. SinnerSchrader and STATION-Berlin are co-hosting the two-day trend and networking event. The NEXT community brings creatives and engineers from the Internet, media and communications industries together with decision-makers from established companies and start-ups.

To involve the NEXT community in the event preparation, the NEXT team will be holding a series of breakfast meetings around Europe, starting September 24 in Amsterdam during the PICNIC festival. Anyone interested is invited to meet up at 9am for the first NEXT Breakfast at De Bakkerswinkel, at the Westergasfabriek, the PICNIC venue.

The NEXT conference, the leading European event for radical web innovation, is jointly hosted in Berlin since this year by SinnerSchrader and STATION-Berlin. SinnerSchrader is a leading interactive agency in Germany, STATION-Berlin is the organiser of the international PREMIUM fashion fair in Berlin.
