Start-ups from around Europe have the chance to pitch their promising ideas live on the NEXT Berlin Start-up stage! Applications for the international pitch start today at nextberlin.eu/startups and will run until March 8, 2013. So this is your opportunity to apply to pitch and, should you be among the successful candidates, receive a lot of international attention!

Together with its incubator hub:raum, Deutsche Telekom will host a complete track which will give Start-ups and their topics a prominent stage. Furthermore hub:raum, together with SinnerSchrader, will reward the winner with a start-up pitch package consisting of valuable services like a mentoring programme and a cash prize, which will help the winner on its way to further success.

From February 25 you can also help other start-ups reach the next round by voting for them. At the end of the voting phase on March 29, 12 finalists will be selected from the community’s top 30 by a jury. The jury will comprise experts from hub:raum, as well as serial entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and media representatives who will chose the lucky finalists.

On the second conference day the finalists will enter the big stage to present their visions and business models during the pitch-session, moderated by Hermione Way (Newspepper, TNW).  The tech journalist and entrepreneur has led the programme for the last two years and, in 2012, stated that she was “really impressed with the quality of start-ups coming out of Berlin”.

Check this list to see, whether your start-up meets the requirements to participate in the pitch at NEXT13. Give it a try!
