Which trends and topics will have the most impact on our economy in the next 12-36 months? At NEXT Berlin on April 23 & 24 more than 100 international speakers with excellent industry reputations will show you what might accelerate or disrupt your business. For example, Silicon Valley thought leader Marina Gorbis, Executive Director of the Institute for the Future will share her vision of a socially structured world, where the economy is driven by relationships. In her new book The Nature of the Future (out in April) she states:

New technologies are giving individuals so much power to connect and share resources that we are entering a new era and inventing radically new types of organisations and services.

Stephen Wolfram is another outstanding scientific mind who will join us at NEXT13. The creator of the Wolfram Alpha search engine, and author of the bestsellers Mathematica and A New Kind of Science, Stephen has been responsible for many discoveries and inventions. At NEXT he will share his comprehensive wisdom on computation and big data.

We’re also looking forward to the talk by Dan Hill, CEO of Fabrica, the Benetton Group’s communications research centre. The designer and urbanist has previously held senior positions at Sitra (the Finnish Innovation Fund), Arup, Monocle and the BBC. He will show us how, through the research centre’s role in providing a transdisciplinary, post-institutional type of hybrid learning, we can begin to explore the future.

We will publish our full programme very soon! So stay tuned and follow us on Twitter and Facebook or sign up for our newsletter to read the latest news.
