Julia Werner is Design Lead at IXDS. She has been part of the IXDS team since 2006. Her focus is on emotional design and communication without words; through design she wants to encourage people both to leave the beaten track and to take care of each other. Her work has been published and exhibited internationally, such as MobileHCI, Amsterdam and DMY, Berlin. She received her degree from the University of Applied Science Potsdam in 2008. During her studies she spent one year in the Product Service System Design Masterclass at the Politecnico di Milano. At IXDS, Julia works in the field of user research, interactive services and experience design. She worked for clients like Deutsche Telekom AG, BMW Group, InnoZ and Erste Group Wien. Since March 2012, she is guest lecturer at the Fachhochschule Potsdam for service design.
