During his 11+ years as CEO, Brian grew Accenture Interactive (now Accenture Song) to be a $12B business before stepping down on September 1, 2021. Now serving on several public and private boards, Brian still believes that the best leaders surround themselves with talent far different from themselves, among many other leadership mantras he is well known for. Brian also is currently doing keynote addresses for large conferences.

Brian turned Interactive into one of the most disruptive forces in the industry by creating a new Experience Agency service model that combined the capabilities of a creative agency, business consultancy and technology powerhouse. He in particular was known as a relatable, cultural leader and successfully grew Interactive organically and also through numerous acquisitions, including creative shop Droga5, cited by industry insiders as a “wake-up call” to the advertising industry. Interactive was named by Ad Age as the world’s largest digital agency five years in a row, while Fast Company named it a 2019 Most Innovative Company in Advertising.

Brian’s achievements have been heralded by Ad Age, which named him Agency Executive of the Year in the 2020 Ad Age A-List; by Adweek, which included Brian on its 2017 and 2018 Power List; and by Business Insider, which included him in the Top 100 People Transforming Business in 2019. He was also named a 2019 Drum Digerati and a 2018 Changemaker in Digiday.
