With over 20 million books sold, Cornelia Funke is one of the most internationally successful children's and youth authors. Despite her success, she has always taken the creative adaptation of her books a step further.
Funke's affinity for digital innovations is also reflected in her latest work "The Labyrinth of the Faun" - a collaborative work with star director and screenwriter Guillermo del Toro (known for "Hellboy", "Shape of Water"), based on the Oscar-winning masterpiece "Pans Labyrinth". Immersive audio storytelling is at the centre of this current project, which she will present together with Eduardo García from German Wahnsinn, the sound specialist for innovative audio content, in our "Creative Technology" theme strand.
