Deepa Iyengar holds an S.M. in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT. Her research interests lie in electrophysiological methods and in the
neurophysiology of habit learning. These are combined in MindGames, Ltd., a company which she co-founded and directs. MindGames has released the world’s first mind-controlled games on iPhone and iPad which are compatible with commercial EEG controllers. The games are controlled by the player’s levels of relaxation and concentration, enabling the integration of entertainment with the practice of mindfulness. MindGames aims at producing videogames to help children who have attentional issues.
