Dr. Marco Maier is a technology researcher and entrepreneur from Germany and has always been excited about how humans and technology interact with each other.

He received his doctorate in the field of context-aware systems and later joined HYVE - the innovation company as Head of Artificial Intelligence.

Marco holds a lectureship on "Empathic Artificial Intelligence / Affective Computing" at the University of Munich and now is CTO of the affective computing startup TAWNY which is working towards making the world's products, services and experiences empathic.
