Thorsten Deutrich majored in economics and started his career at Siemens.

Since then he has worked in various sales and management positions in the Internet and telecommunications fields. Thorsten Deutrich was a Director at Telefónica Deutschland GmbH as head of the Berlin office and was the leading manager of the sales department of DNS:NET Internet Service GmbH.

In 2010 he took up the position as the General Manager of DACH for Cotendo.
