Since March 2008, Tobias Ragge (36) has been managing the second-generation, family-owned company. He joined HRS as Executive Assistant in 2004 and became Head of Marketing in 2005. Since then, he has been gradually expanding the hotel portal in an international direction, while continuing to strengthen its position as European market leader. Under his leadership, HRS took over the alpine portal www.tiscover.com in 2008 and acquired a controlling interest in hotel.de AG in 2011. Overall the HRS group operates eleven branches and employs more than 1.100 employees around the world. Tobias Ragge also uses innovative solutions to set new standards in the field of mobile bookings.

Tobias Ragge studied international business administration at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. After successfully completing his studies and receiving his degree in business administration, he began his professional career in 2002 at Lufthansa, Europe's leading airline. There he was involved in CRM and in the restructuring of continental traffic, as well as in the area of alliance management in Atlanta, USA.

In September 2012 Tobias Ragge received the “Travel Industry Manager 2012” award from the prestigious Travel Industry Club. With more than 500 members, the Travel Industry Club is a highly competent institution in the travel industry, and the jury was composed of the Who’s Who of the German tourism industry.
